Our Bureau is dedicated to empowering the people of Sidaama by developing a skilled, productive, and self-reliant workforce. We focus on advancing employment opportunities, providing high-quality technical and vocational education, and ensuring fair and decent labor practices.

With the region’s growing potential and the aspirations of its citizens, we are working across three core departments:

Job Creation – We strive to reduce unemployment and underemployment by supporting youth entrepreneurship, promoting small and medium enterprises, and facilitating job matching services across the region.

Technical and Vocational Training – We are strengthening TVET institutions to deliver demand-driven, inclusive, and practical training that equips our workforce with the skills needed in today’s labor market.
