About the Department
The Administration and Finance Department is the backbone of the Sidaama Region Labor and Skills Bureau, providing essential support services that enable all technical departments to function effectively. We are responsible for financial planning and control, human resource management, procurement, asset administration, ICT services, and general office operations. Our work ensures that the Bureau operates with transparency, efficiency, and full compliance with public financial management regulations.
We are committed to fostering a culture of accountability, prudent resource utilization, and continuous institutional improvement. By streamlining administrative processes, digitizing workflows, and building staff capacity, we empower the Bureau to deliver high-quality labor and skills development services to the people of Sidaama Region.
In the last fiscal year, the department processed over 1,200 procurement requests with 98% on-time delivery, managed a budget of 156 million ETB across 14 cost centers, and digitized 80% of personnel records. Our goal is to achieve full ISO 9001:2025 certification for administrative quality management by 2027.
